Superstix introduces the "S-Series" line of high performance surfboards.
The S-Series is based on Brett Simpson’s WQS traveling quiver. From groveling in one-foot Brazilian beach-breaks to pumping Margaret River and back home to Huntington Beach, the S-series gives Simpo the tools he needs get the win in all conditions.
The Superstix S-Series is the model Simpo rode to win $100,000 at the 2009 US OPEN of SURFING.
All S-Series models are constructed with premium polyester foam blanks and glassed with epoxy resin and “S-Cloth”. This unique combination of materials brings a balance of strength and "spring" performance flex to the rider.
The S-Series features three models:
“The Groveler” – designed for small waves, should be 2-3 inches shorter and 1/4” to 1/2” wider than your normal board.
“The Workhorse” – All around high-performance shortboard to handle all types of waves from small blown-out beachbreaks to glassy overhead pointbreaks.
“The Step-Up” – built for juicy points and powerful beachbreaks. The Step-Up is an important piece of anyone's quiver for when the surf is pumping.
